Belt Buddy is a creative packaging solution to a problem that plagues the modern world: Keeping children organized. The Belt buddy breaks into two separate reusable storage solutions, allowing the user to store the included belt any way they wish. Additionally, he's kind of a cute 'lil guy.
Belt Buddy is a package design which embodies sustainability and function in all aspects of it's production. It seeks to be efficient as possible in it's tasks, while maintaining an attractive aesthetic and reasonable form factor. It's assembly is quite simple in concept, a hook shaped hangar and a rolled belt inside a 'shell' piece both slot together without the use of glue to create a cute 'lil snail friend to help keep your children's belts organized.
How do you store your belts? You can either jam them in your drawer, which will no doubt eventually un-roll and clog up your drawer's slides, or you can hang them in your dresser, and wait till they annoyingly fall off the hangar every time you brush against them. Neither of these are exceptionally effective, and are inferior to the solutions provided by the Belt Buddy. The belt buddy allows you to take your belt, roll it up, keep it rolled, and tuck it neatly away in the corner of a drawer. The 'shell' form factor allows you to stack them or layer them neatly, while still being able to see what colour and material your belt is at a glance.
If you hate drawers, the Belt Buddy also affords use as a hangar. Remove the shell and you can slide the belt right through the same slot used to attach the shell piece. From here, the belt buddy can easily be hung from any standard sized racks and hangar bars. This means that you can actually store 2 belts per Belt Buddy, what great value! In addition to all it's functional merits, the Belt Buddy remains sustainable, with it's reusable nature and lack of recyclable material.
