An information design piece displaying the issues that the Great Lakes are facing due to global warming. This project includes a 7x9" pamphlet that opens up to reveal an infographic poster on the back, as well as a motion graphic that send a call-to-action for the audience.
For this project, I designed an infographic in both print and digital mediums about a the problems that The Great Lakes are facing due to global warming. With a folding print pamphlet that opens to an 18x28” poster and a motion graphics piece, I visually displayed the issues that climate change is causing for freshwater levels, and put out a call-to-action for the audience.
The pamphlet opens up to reveal new information upon each fold. Once the cover is opened, a full spread layout with the introduction and information about Lake Superior is presented and then opens up to four more panels – one for each of the other lakes.
Using Adobe After Effects, I converted the information that I gathered for my print piece into a motion graphic. Using mostly all the same illustrations and typography, I promoted the problems that The Great Lakes are facing due to global warming and put out a call to action for viewers as well as a link at the end to World Wildlife Fund Canada where they can find more information on this topic.
