Groupr is a team building software that uses personality types, skill set, and technical proficiency to build you the best teams possible. This product simplifies the creation of teams, because I’ve watched professors group students at random for so many years, and I’ve always thought there must be a better way. My goal was to provide people with a more enjoyable and efficient teamwork experience by inspiring empathy through a better understanding of their teammates and themselves.
Groupr is intended to have two main types of users, team members and team makers. All users are required to complete an initial personality test, then the team maker can create specific forms for each project and send those out to everyone who needs to be placed on a team. These forms will collect more in depth information about all the team members and can be tailored to suit the skills needed for any type of task.
We use the information we collect to match users with compatible teammates, but also to provide them with insights into their personal work style and habits to help them grow. No team is perfect, but Groupr offers all teammates helpful tips throughout a project so they can have empathy for their teammates and work through conflicts in a productive and efficient way. This was Groupr doesn’t only build great teams, but helps everyone become a better teammate.
