The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre aims to share the heritage of Japanese Canadians through traditional and contemporary programs, cultural events, and workshops. This new brand identity introduces a new identity system carried across assets for corporate communication and marketing material.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary Japanese design aesthetics, the new identity is built off of a simple geometric visual language. The graphic system works as a background element highlighting the logo and supporting imagery in its applications. The new system is flexible across various application sizes, as the variations shift and adapt as the centre updates its programs and introduces new events.
