Muse is a magazine that showcases personal style based around key items in the wardrobe. The first issue focuses on the bag, what people keep inside of it, and how the way they style it speaks to their personality.
This editorial piece is photography heavy due to the nature of the content. I used a mix between bold graphic styles and scans of handwriting from interviews conducted with each of the Muses featured.
The interviews are accompanied by photo spreads of each individual showcasing what they carry with them every day and the bags they use to bring these items with them.
The magazine has a feeling of intimacy as you get a glimpse of the Muse's personalities. The photo style and graphic style echos this feeling with warm bright colours, lots of textures, and hand-made accents.
