A redesign of the graphic identity system for the Ontario Place Corporation. Comprised of a research report and graphic identity system used to create six brand applications and an identity guidelines document.
Ontario Place is a space where Ontarians and tourists alike come together to enjoy a meaningful community experience. With its new revitalization project, Ontario Place is taking this idea a step further by introducing new areas of the park such as the Celebration Common, Park and Trail, Canal District, and the Pedestrian Bridge. All of which serve as a means for the community to connect and flourish. This inspires the visual attributes of the brand as the manner in which the colourful links are joined alludes to individuals finding commonality through community experience. Together, the links represent a harmonious, vibrant, and unified community. The aim of this identity redesign is to create an adaptable, yet cohesive, brand identity for the Ontario Place Corporation to accommodate different facets of its recent revitalization endevor.
