Thnks Fr Th Mmrs is a book that covers the concert experience. What started as a personal project, developed into a book that would allow any reader to be transported into the world of a concert goer through images and memorabilia from various concerts of various artists. Accompanying the book is an external playlist to which readers can scan a code and listen along to the songs of the show while viewing the book.
The title, taken from a Fall Out Boy song is one of the songs used within the accompanying playlist, and an artist covered within the book. The playlist consists of two songs per show, which can be listened to by scanning the code at the bottom right of the page, which allows the reader to listen along to the songs while looking at the concert images. Elements such as VIP passes, confetti and personal tickets were also added into the contents of the book to fully immerse the reader into the full experience of attending a concert.
While there is little content, included is a forward, afterward and index at the end of the book which displays the information from each show such as opening and main acts, tour name, location and date. The typeface used for the text of the book was that of Orator STd in Medium and is featured within the forward, afterward, index, quotes and titles of the shows. The quotes taken are from famous artist, each with a personal recount of how they view or feel at concerts, tying into the theme of the overall book.
The book measures at 12'x12 and consists of 80 full colour pages, printed on 100lb gloss paper with a soft touch laminate soft cover and perfect bound. The images, all original and left unedited, bring about the feeling of being present at the concert, even if the reader has never attended that show.
